Disc or Digital for GTA 6?
Pick the Disc Edition if you want to buy GTA 6 on disc, trade or resell it later, or borrow games from friends. The Digital Edition is cheaper up front, but every game must be bought from the PlayStation Store.
Is 1TB enough? Do I need a PS5 Pro?
The PS5 Slim 1TB has about 848GB of usable space, and you can add an M.2 SSD later. A PS5 Pro is not required — GTA 6 is made for the standard PS5.

›Will GTA 6 run on a PS4?
No. GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. A PS4 or Xbox One will not run it.
›Disc or Digital Edition — which PS5 should I get for GTA 6?
Choose a Disc Edition if you want to buy GTA 6 on disc, resell or trade games later, or borrow games from friends. A Digital Edition costs less up front, but every game has to be bought from the PlayStation Store.
›Is a 1TB PS5 Slim enough for GTA 6?
The PS5 Slim 1TB has about 848GB of usable space. Rockstar has not published GTA 6's final install size yet, so plan room for it alongside a few other large games. You can add an M.2 SSD later if you need more space.
›Do I need a PS5 Pro to play GTA 6?
No. GTA 6 is made for the standard PS5. A PS5 Pro can add visual improvements, but it is not required to play.
